Lawyer Redi Llanaj raped security guard, National Bar Association: We will take measures

The National Bar Association of Albania has reacted after the incident that occurred today, where lawyer Redi Llanaj raped the security guard of the Vlora Court.

The official response states that the Chamber of Advocates distances itself from this event, deeming it inappropriate and unbecoming of the figure of the Advocate, adding that they will take all necessary measures to handle the case.

Reaction of the National Bar Association of Albania:

The Albanian Bar Association condemns the violent incident involving lawyer Redi Llanaj, a member of the Vlora Bar Association, on the premises of the Vlora Court.

The Albanian Bar Association distances itself from this event, considering it inappropriate and unbecoming of a lawyer. At the same time, we regret that this incident occurred on the day of the boycott imposed by the Albanian Bar Association, precisely to stop the phenomenon of violence against officials and employees in the justice system, through the incident involving Judge Astrit Kalaja.

DHASH informs all lawyers and the public that it is following this event with concern and seriousness and will take all necessary measures to handle the case of this lawyer. At the same time, we encourage the relevant institutions to investigate and clarify this ugly incident.
