Three Albanians from Kukësi clashed at midnight with some Kosovar Albanians in the nightclub they were frequenting. According to the state police, 31-year-old Visart Cengu from Kukësi was killed in the fight and 27-year-old Rufgen Shehu was injured.
The victim, together with the injured and their friend Arben Basha, had a physical conflict with Dibran Hoxha, the owner of the night club 'Kobra' in Prizren.
Then the fight escalated into the use of weapons. As the three Kuksians were leaving by car, they were shot. The bullets hit two of them and then they went to the Kukes hospital, but Cengu died on the way.
The 27-year-old, after receiving first aid in the emergency room of the Kukës hospital, was transported to Tirana for more specialized help.
While the victim's body has been sent to the Tirana morgue to undergo an autopsy, since there are no forensic specialists in the Kukës Regional Hospital.
Regarding the incident, the Kosovo Police has been contacted and the exchange of information continues.
The author of the incident, Dibran Hoxhaj, was previously convicted of murder, drug trafficking and physical fighting in Prizren.
The Kosovo police have confirmed that the owner of the Kobra City bar, Dibran Hoxha, has been arrested, as he is suspected of murdering the 31-year-old from Kukësi.
The spokesperson of the regional police of Prizren, Shaqir Bytyqi, told reporters that together with Hoxha, five other people who know about the incident were accompanied to the police station.
