Fatbardh Kadilli: The Democratic Party has been captured by the Bolshevik mentality

In an in-depth analysis of the current crisis within the Democratic Party, former MP Fatbardh Kadilli, invited to the Shqip show by Dritan Hila on DritareTV, emphasized that the party's challenges are not related to Berisha as an individual, but to the internal structure and culture of the DP.

Kadilli described the Democratic Party as an organization of “Bolshevik nature,” where the majority imposes its opinion on the minority, hindering the development of new ideas and internal competition. According to him, the recent protest by several former members, including Salianji, Balli and Kokalari, does not pose a real threat to Berisha, but reflects individual initiatives that often fail to create sustainable political movements.

Kadilli criticizes the way many DP figures act for personal gain, turning politics into a race for career and wealth, instead of focusing on causes and ideology. He stressed that the party's current crisis has led to the demoralization of the base and the disappearance of the second generation of politicians capable of leading.

“Albanians want answers to their problems, not to the problems of the democrats,” Kadilli said, noting the lack of ideas and clear vision for the opposition. He also criticizes the party as being stuck in the personalization of leadership, where everyone tries to build a party around themselves, failing to create a stable political system.

Kadilli sees the problem more broadly: according to him, the Democratic Party has not developed a true culture of democracy and is far from the standards that would enable an effective opposition, turning it into a structure where personal accounts dominate over real policies.
