"Thank you Kosovo" - Asllani after the loss to Turkey: The pain is great, we will come back stronger!

Kosovo striker Fisnik Asllani has reacted after the painful loss in the final against Turkey, a result that denied the "Dardans" a historic qualification to the World Cup.

In the match held at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium, Kosovo was narrowly defeated 0-1, despite a strong performance and numerous scoring chances. Asllani was among the most outstanding on the field, coming close to scoring several times, but failing to make it happen.

After the match, the young striker shared his emotions on social media, expressing his great disappointment at the missed opportunity.

"It's not just a loss... it's a dream that stopped just before the end. We gave our souls, we believed until the last second, but luck was not on our side. The pain is great, because we knew how close we were to history... how close to a moment that would remain forever... But we are Kosovo and we will come back stronger! Thank you Kosovo," Asllani wrote.
