Just a few days after the incident in Prizren where a young man from Kukësi was killed, the justice bodies in Kosovo have launched an in-depth investigation into the case of Dibran Hoxha, the owner of the bar "Kobra City" who killed Visart Cengaj and injured his friend him after the New Year.
Based on the fact that Dibran Hoxhaj had previous and many precedents and yet in all cases he was not punished according to the law,
The Prosecution Council of Kosovo has decided that the chief prosecutor of Prizren should submit a full report with all the actions that have been taken over the years against Hoxhaj.
In the announcement dated January 6, 2023, it is stated: "The Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo (KPK) informs the public opinion that immediately after the last case of murder in Prizren where the suspect is Dibran Hoxhaj, it has requested from the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution of Prizren to prepare a report regarding all prosecutorial actions undertaken over the years against him.
The Prosecution Council of Kosovo, based on the legal powers it has, will carefully handle all the actions taken over the years by the relevant prosecution against Dibran Hoxhaj and any eventual omission will be sanctioned based on the legal acts in force."
