Dynamics of the event/ 24 hours after the mafia assassination in Durrës,

The crackle of a Kalashnikov, a dog moving quickly away from the noise, and several people turning back for fear of bullets.

This is the image that comes from a camera that captured the fatal moment of the execution of a young man in the early hours of yesterday in a neighborhood of Durrës. The boy, who turned out to be only 29 years old, was shot on the sidewalk. He had tried to enter a nearby building, but the bullets coming from behind did not allow him to escape.

It was learned that the victim of that fatal ambush was Ermir Dedja from Shijak. According to the police, the crime occurred around 1 am, while the incident was reported yesterday morning.

The murderers, believed to have been three people, fled the scene of the crime, burning the vehicle they used to commit the murder, while the police rushed to "dig" into the 29-year-old's past to discover the "arguments" he had committed. And, yesterday, instead of tracking down the perpetrators of the murder, the police announced that Ermir Dedja had a criminal record, and that he even belongs to a well-known criminal group that operates in the Shijak area, Durrës, and during campaigns goes to Dibër and even Elbasan.

According to the Durrës police, Ermir Dedja was shot as soon as he got out of the car, in the neighborhood where he lived in the coastal city. It is learned that he was initially injured and it was the residents of the area who were at the scene, who transported him to the hospital, but due to the wounds he received, the 29-year-old died. It is also learned that the Kalashnikov bullets also hit the health center, which was located near the scene of the incident. The police have also seized security cameras located in the area to shed light on the identification and subsequent capture of the perpetrators. The young man is suspected of having been under surveillance by the perpetrators during the day, who have followed his every move. The 29-year-old Ermir Dedja, originally from Shijak, is learned that he had recently lived in Germany, where he is suspected of being involved in criminal activity, but the possibility of being involved in the numerous groups operating in Durrës cannot be ruled out.

From the initial suspicions of the experts, but also after examining the cameras, it was determined that the perpetrators had been monitoring the area for hours, while they had ambushed him in the alley he always moved in. After committing the murder, the perpetrators quickly left the scene in the "Seat" vehicle, the same one that appears in the secured footage.

A few hours later, the Vora police found the burned-out car near Gërdec, along with the murder weapon, a Kalashnikov, completely burned out. Investigators have little hope of solving the case through it, as possible biological evidence was destroyed by the flames. The only hope remains a possible tracing of the chassis number, which could give a direction to the investigation, while the license plates turned out to have been stolen earlier.

Throughout yesterday, the investigation group in Durrës only has a clear understanding of the dynamics of the murder, while there is still no information regarding the causes and suspected perpetrators. Although it was said that the victim was suspected of having problems with his past, which is suspected of being part of one of the most well-known criminal groups in the country, it has not yet been possible to accompany any suspect. The police and the investigation group have carried out a number of escorts, mainly people who knew the victim and people who were near the crime scene on Monday midnight. Dozens of cameras have been opened along the streets of Durrës and up to Vora, where the perpetrators' vehicle was also found burned, while it will be the victim's family and close friends who can help solve the serious crime that took the life of the 29-year-old.
