Completely burned shops and ruins, view from the "May 5" market after the massive fire

The "May 5" market in Tirana has been completely destroyed after a massive fire that engulfed all the warehouses yesterday evening, January 8, for reasons that have not yet been officially confirmed, but which are suspected to have come from an electrical spark.
As can be seen from the footage, only sheet metal and the ruins of the merchants' warehouses remain in the area, who have stated that the financial damage is extremely considerable, since all the goods they sold were there.
"I had the smallest store here. The merchandise is more than 200 million lek, I have the smallest, but the others have more. I sold socks and tights, leggings, clothing. I had one, the girl had two, it burned completely, there are four containers inside," said Ferdinant Martaneshi to journalists, one of the merchants affected by the fire.
Panorama Online has also provided footage showing the moment the fire started in the market area near "5 Maji".
As seen in these images provided by journalist Xhensila Kodra, initially smoke was coming out of a structure and then the flames spread rapidly.
According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have started as a result of an electrical fault, however the exact causes remain under investigation.
So far, at least 50 businesses operating in the warehouse where the fire started have been completely destroyed. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
