A 57-year-old woman is hit and left dead on the road, the driver flees the scene

An accident occurred this evening in Dimal, on the new bridge over the river. A 57-year-old woman, who was crossing the road with her sheep, was crushed to death by a vehicle, which left her lying on the road and fled the scene.

The victim, Thëllëza Caushi, a resident of Dimal, died instantly, while numerous police forces have arrived at the scene and are conducting an investigation after identifying the body.

Police confirm that security cameras around the accident site have also been seized, to identify the vehicle that hit him and the driver who was driving the vehicle.
