Two people were injured by a gas cylinder explosion at a pizzeria in the "Delijorgji" area.

Journalist Xhensila Kodra provided News24 and BalkanWeb with footage from the scene, showing that the facade of the business that was expected to open soon was destroyed as a result of the explosion.

The explosion reportedly injured the owner of the premises, aged around 40. A 28-year-old man was also injured. The injured were taken to the Plastic Burns Hospital in QSUNT, where they are receiving medical attention.

At around 11:20, on Kavaja Street, at the "Delijorgji" complex, in a currently non-functional environment, a gas cylinder is suspected to have exploded.

As a result, the owner of the premises, citizen Besmir Dyrmishi, about 40 years old, and his employee, citizen Klejdi Bajrami, about 28 years old, were injured and are receiving medical attention at the hospital.

The investigation team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
