NAME/ The first Albanian drug kingpin convicted in England, who will be extradited to our country

The Albanian 'King' of drugs has become the first fraudster convicted in England, who will be extradited to our country, as part of the prisoner exchange agreement.

We are talking about Klodjan Copja, 36, who will continue his remaining 17 years in prison in Albania, saving British taxpayers tens of thousands of pounds.

He was jailed in 2017 after police busted a cocaine-trafficking ring that had taken over south-east London.

Copja spent four years on the run before being caught at the Greece-Albania border with a fake passport and extradited to Britain to face trial. Sources of the Directorate of Albanian Prisons confirmed that his transfer took place a few weeks ago.
