Greece, Albanian arrested with pistol and cocaine in Thessaloniki

Police officers from the Northern Greece Organized Crime Sub-Directorate arrested a 36-year-old Albanian in an area of Thessaloniki, who is accused of violating drug and weapons laws.
Specifically, within the framework of special checks carried out by the Criminal Prosecution Department, the 36-year-old was found in possession of an air pistol, 103 metal cartridges and an improvised nylon package containing cocaine with a gross weight of 2.9 grams.
More specifically, the illegal drugs were found carefully hidden in a "Smart" car owned by the defendant, specifically under the driver's seat, in a box next to the steering wheel and in the air conditioning vent.
The arrested person was escorted to the competent prosecution body.
