"Her boyfriend hugged me, he was sad!" - Daughter found dead in a suitcase, Ilaria Sula's father tells the last conversation with the daughter and how the suspicions began! Meeting with the author at the police station

A serious incident shook Rome this morning, after 22-year-old Albanian woman, Ilaria Sula, who had been reported missing since March 25 of this year, was found murdered by her boyfriend Mark Antony Samson, inside a suitcase thrown into a ravine.
Iliaria's father, Flamur Sula, told Italian media that the last phone call he had with his daughter was on Tuesday, March 25, the day she disappeared, where her daughter told him she would be back home in a few days.
Flamur Sula said that after this call, his daughter did not call him as usual, but they had continued the conversation through text messages, and this had raised suspicions among them that something was wrong, despite Iliaria having written to them that she was fine.
"The last time we spoke to Ilaria was Tuesday and she told us she would be back home on Saturday. She lives with her friends in Rome, where she attends university. That was the last call, then we received a few messages from her cell phone that said: 'Hello, Dad, don't worry. I'm fine. I went out with a boy and a girl. I'll be back in Terni in a month.' Then she repeated to me: 'Don't worry, I'm fine.' This worried us, because if it was really the girl who was writing, she would have called me," he says.

The 22-year-old's father further confessed that they filed a report of her disappearance on Saturday, March 29, and the day after they met with her boyfriend at the police station, who, as Flamur Sula reports, the young man expressed sadness over her disappearance and even hugged her.
"On Saturday we went to file a missing person's report. Then, on Sunday, we met my daughter's boyfriend at the police station, we didn't know they had broken up. He told us he was very sad and worried about her loss. He seemed calm and even gave me a hug," says Flamur Sula, Ilaria's father.
Italian media write that according to forensic sources, she died at least 48 hours before she was found, while it is expected that the forensic team that will conduct the autopsy will be appointed in the future.
He told police officers that he stabbed Ilaria Sula to death, then put her in a suitcase and threw her in the forest. After the murder, he took the Albanian student's phone, through which she posted on social networks.
Tabs and cell phones that show a person's location when they make a call were among the elements that trapped the student's ex-boyfriend.
Through their analysis, investigators were able to discover that in the days after the girl's disappearance, the 23-year-old Filipino had continued to use her phone and post from Ilaria's social media profiles.
Ilaria emigrated from Albania to Terni when she was a child with her parents who started a new life in the Umbrian province.
Her mother works as a cleaner and her father works for a construction company. The family lives in a building near the Liberati stadium.
Before moving to live in Rome, Ilaria successfully attended Angeloni High School, majoring in Economics and Social Sciences.
As soon as he graduated, he decided to enroll at "La Sapienza" University to continue his studies at the Faculty of Statistical Sciences.
