Assassination of businessman in Elbasan/ Police ask Macedonia for help, suspect

A person identified by the Tirana police is being watched with great interest by investigators as there are suspicions that he played the role of the executioner. According to verifications, this citizen left North Macedonia a few hours after the incident was recorded. Meanwhile, the guard and his former partner who were arrested will appear tomorrow before the Elbasan court to be informed of the security measures.

The suspected perpetrator of the murder of Edmond Hyka alias Mond Mëhalla is suspected of having stayed around the Përrenjas area before the incident.

Security cameras have confirmed the fact that after the crime, the person being watched with great interest by the police crossed the green border from the North Macedonian customs point.

This citizen has been identified by investigators, but not officially declared wanted, but information is also being sought from the neighboring country to learn more about his activities.

Meanwhile, the people who have been detained up to this stage are suspected of having been the perpetrator's assistants, both in securing the car and the area where the murderer was staying, and in ensuring his departure.

Meanwhile, Xhino Ago and Kujtim Pisha, the former partner and guard of the gas station where businessman Edmond Hyka alias Mondi Mëhalla was killed, will appear before the Elbasan court on December 5 at 10:00 to be informed of the security measure.

A date has not yet been set for Nevzat Spaho, who was arrested the day before. The latter has not been cooperative with the police and is expected to be questioned for the second time, giving him the opportunity to state the circumstances of the incident.

It is initially suspected that the cause is a conflict between partners, while Marcelo Arani and Armando Kola have been declared wanted.
