Engjëll and Florina Cani, the parents of the 14-year-old boy who was killed by his peer on November 18 near the 'Fan Noli' school, in Tirana, have tearfully told how they heard the news of their son's murder.
His father said that he was at work when he was informed that he had been transported to the hospital, adding that when he arrived at Trauma, he received the terrible news that he had passed away.
On the other hand, the mother discovered the last conversation with him, the night before the event.
"The night before I asked him if he had any worries, he said no, nothing, calm as always. He left for school in the morning, he said, "I'm leaving for school." It went like every day, Martini didn't raise any doubts in my mind", she said.

How did you hear the news that day?
Father : I happened to be working in a hotel and my daughter-in-law calls me and tells me that Martin has gone to the hospital. I always thought he might have had a little fight or maybe after some blow, something. We picked up the teacher, she doesn't answer me, we picked her up again, she opens the phone. I took a colleague of mine there and ran to the Military hospital. I was told that your son is in the operating room and has only been hit once and has a chance to survive. After an hour, or after half an hour, I don't know that I was very shocked, the doctors called me and told me that Martini could not survive, his heart was affected.
You said there was a fight at school...
Mom : There was a fight. Why, we don't know, we don't know the reason. He was calm as always.
Father : He didn't fight with anyone and when he played football, he didn't fight. He was a man... he was a leader, a leader. Until the 6th grade, Martin was with all 10 with praise cards, then he continued sports and will become like Ronaldo used to say, well we told him.
