30-year-old arrested in Tirana with a gun ready to fire, silencer workshop discovered

Tirana Police have arrested 30-year-old Haxhi Nezaj in the Kombinat area, after he was caught red-handed moving with a firearm with a silencer, ready to fire. The arrest was made during the operation codenamed “Punishtja”, organized by Commissariat No. 6 based on operational information.
During the physical search and in his apartment, officers found and seized another rifle-type firearm, combat ammunition, doses of cocaine, and other illegal items.
Following the actions, a workshop was discovered near Nezaj's apartment that was suspected of being used to produce silencers for various weapons, which he then allegedly sold to persons involved in criminal activities, including crimes against the person and property.
