Requested the revocation of the security measure, GJKKO accepts Kreshnik

The GJKKO has accepted the request of Kreshnik Budlla Farruku, who revoked the security measure "prison arrest".

The decision came after it turned out that the communications code on Sky ECC was not his, but that of his brother, Roland Farruku.

The GJKKO ordered his immediate release from detention, but Kreshnik Budlla cannot be released, as there is another security measure.

The applicant Kreshnik Budlla (Farruku) on 01.2025 submitted to the Court the request with the subject: "1. Determination of the invalidity and unusability of the SKY ECC PIN **** identification report, kept by the officer of the National Bureau of Investigation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where it wrongly identifies as the possessor and user the citizen Kreshnik Budlla (Farruku), instead of the real possessor and user the citizen RF (Kreshnik Budlla Farruku's brother).

2. Revocation of the security measure "arrest in prison", provided for by Article 238 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for citizen Kreshnik Budlla (Farruku), imposed through decision No. 1 Act, dated 11.01.2025, continued with the decision of 13.01.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.

3. At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a panel composed of Judge Erjon Bani, based on Articles 112 and 260/1 et seq. of the Code of Criminal Procedure, with Decision No. 76 , dated 04.2025 , decided:

WHO IS KRESHNIK BUDLLA FARRUKU

There is a European arrest warrant against Kreshnik Budla, issued by Italy since 2018, for the same case that the Spanish Police had been investigating since 2007. He is considered a dangerous leader of a clan for international cocaine trafficking.

At that time, in Spain he was also suspected of robbing the villa of businessman Jose Luis Moreno, in Boadilla.

Farruku, who was also known by the surname Budlla, was arrested years ago in a hotel located on "Joan Maragall Chamartin" street, near La Castellana, in Spain.

Local media reported at the time that when approached by a police agent, Farruku attempted to prove his identity with Spanish and Albanian documents in the name of other people. Police later discovered that he had used up to 10 different identities to avoid detection.

He is suspected of being part of the 'Farruku' clan, an Albanian criminal organization that was linked to theft, cocaine trafficking and other crimes related to drug trafficking. Sources from the investigative group have explained that he was initially investigated in 2007, because he was suspected of being linked to the group of Albanians who attacked the house of businessman Jose Luis Moreno that year, but he was not arrested for this.

The police suspected, although there was no evidence, that Kreshnik Farruku was also in hiding after the murder of his boss, on January 21, 2010, on Madrid's 'Telemaco' street, after whose death he took command of the organization.

The subsequent investigation concluded that the perpetrator of the shooting was Albanian citizen Devi Kasmi and they suspected that he had acted on the orders of the second-in-command of the criminal organization, who at the time was Kreshnik Farruku. Devi Kasmi fled to Albania, where he was shot dead in Tirana (Albania) in January 2018.
