Kushner's company reacts to Zvërnec: We are not involved

Although the Albanian government and the media that supports it say that Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are behind the investment in a luxury resort in Zvërnec, the latter continue to deny such a thing. 

Contacted by CNBC, Kushner's company, "Affinity Partners," referred the American media to a PR firm. 

This agency said that "Sazan Real Estate Development LLC" is the entity developing the project and that Affinity Partners has no involvement. 

The PR company added that each of its American partners was involved in their personal capacity.

"Our goal is simple: to celebrate Albania's natural beauty, create jobs, and build something that future generations can be proud of," Asher Abehsera, CEO of Sazan Real Estate Development LLC, said in a statement to CNBC.
