The first billionaire in the Balkans/Without a single lek in his pocket in Opinion, Samir Mane: I don't even have a wallet

Businessman Samir Mane's fortune is currently estimated at $1.4 billion, according to the latest ranking by the prestigious Forbes magazine.
Mane is the first billionaire in the Balkans and Albania to enter this list.
But the question Samir Mane hears most often is how much cash he has in his pocket.
This question was also addressed by the host of the Opinion show on TV Klan, Blendi Fevziu, in an interview this evening.
Businessman Mane said that not only does he not carry cash, but he also does not have a wallet. He indicated that he only makes payments with a bank card.
Blendi Fevziu: Mr. Mane, how much cash do you have?
Samir Mane: At the moment we are speaking, I don't have any and I don't carry any with me.
Samir Mane: I almost never carry cash with me. When I need it abroad, I pay with a card. I never have money with me.
Blendi Fevziu: Do you have a wallet with you?
Samir Mane: I don't have a wallet with me and I almost never carry a wallet with me. There's a joke about this, when I go to a bar, I don't pay because I go to 2-3 bars at most. They definitely know me and when a relative of mine or one of my staff comes, they tell him that your coffee costs 80 thousand Lek because Samir hasn't paid for 10 days.
Blendi Fevziu: Do you ever forget to pay them or are they all paid off?
Samir Mane: Recently I started taking pictures of the bill and taking it to the staff and they pay it.
Blendi Fevziu: When I talked about cash, I meant money saved in the bank. Does that also count as money deposited?
Samir Mane: Private accounts obviously include other assets such as boats or cars. But these do not constitute any significant value.
Blendi Fevziu: Do you have any money saved in the bank yourself? Do you keep your money in the bank or do you invest it all?
Samir Mane: Of course, after the payment of dividends, I obviously have my own financial assets in the bank, but mostly they are part of Balfin, my company, and all profits are reinvested.
Blendi Fevziu: How does Forbes get information about where there might be billionaires? State after state?
Samir Mane: They definitely have their own methodologies and the core is the audited consolidated financial statements, that's the core of what they see. And they should be publicly accessible. So you may have other money, but they only see what's declared in the public declaration system.
