Ledian Spaho, the lawyer for Enedio Guri, spoke to the media after the Korça court issued measures for the eight arrested for the murder of the 14-year-old in Pirg i Maliqi. The lawyer said that the perpetrator expressed remorse in the courtroom, saying that he did not want his actions to lead to this consequence.

" I express my condolences for the loss of family members. The court decided that the perpetrator should be sentenced to prison. This consequence created by a momentary conflict, even though they are children, the court considered the arrest valid, both for the father E. Guri, as well as for the uncle. The court ruled that the arrest of the other minors was not lawful, but ordered parental supervision and appearance before the court. The perpetrator expressed remorse. He said he did not want this consequence to occur, that he knew that his actions would create this consequence, he expresses his condolences to the family. The father of the minor also stated the same thing, saying that he is sorry for the consequence ," said the lawyer of the 14-year-old perpetrator.

It is also reported that the perpetrator was in tears in front of the black squads, saying that he wanted to commit murder and that it was a momentary quarrel.

" I didn't mean to commit murder. It was a spur-of-the-moment argument. I am very sorry. Condolences to the family, " says author Enedio Guri.

Meanwhile, the author's father, Edison Guri, is reported to have expressed his condolences to the family, while the court also left him in prison for his involvement in the murder along with his brother.
