A 39-year-old man, who performed dangerous maneuvers with his Audi, hit five pedestrians on Halit Haxhija Street in Tirana.
After the accident, he abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene, but was quickly caught by police and placed in handcuffs. The pedestrians received medical attention and are out of danger.

The Audi vehicle was impounded and the 39-year-old was given an additional measure of driving license revocation. The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 5, in cooperation with the traffic services, caught and arrested citizen PB, 39 years old, resident of Kamëz.
"Yesterday, on "Halit Haxhija" street, citizen PB, driving an "Audi" vehicle, performed dangerous maneuvers and as a result the vehicle left the road, hitting 5 citizens (pedestrians), who received medical assistance at the hospital and are out of danger," the police announced.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
