The Spanish police hit the Albanian mafia, they mainly cultivated marijuana

The police in Spain have hit the Albanian mafia that was involved in the cultivation and sale of narcotics.

During this action, 1,200 marijuana plants were seized in two plantations located in Sant Carles de la Rapita and L'Aldea.

Also, foreign media write that two to three operations against marijuana trafficking continue to take place in Catalonia.

All the people who were arrested guarded the plantation in exchange for a monthly salary that could range from 1,500 to 3,000 euros.

They do not leave the warehouses, they are provided with a place to sleep and eat and supervise the plantation systems.

This operation once again brought to the fore the Albanian mafia based in Catalonia and which was billed from 9 to 12 million euros with international traffic. 

At least 56 people were detained, who had come directly from Albania and were guarding the plantations.

While 13 have been imprisoned.

During the month of July, another operation was carried out in Vallas by the Spanish police, where another Albanian criminal organization was dismantled.

Mostly part of this gang were young Albanians.
