The 55-year-old Albanian man is shot with a firearm in Germany

An Albanian citizen was shot several times with firearms in Berlin, Germany, after an unidentified person opened fire from the sidewalk towards the "Audi" car he was driving.

The German authorities inform that the 55-year-old Albanian from Kosovo was wounded with a bullet in the shoulder.

The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. today, in Friedrichsfelde, Berlin, while the identity of the perpetrator or the reasons are still unknown, as he left in an unknown direction. There were no other people in the vehicle.

The German authorities are working to clarify the event.
