"He doesn't know the victim, he had no contact with her" - Murder of Renis Dobra, Petrit Çakrri's lawyer: He only had a connection with one of the Bushgjokaj brothers, they were in prison together

The lawyer for Petrit Çakrri, accused of the murder of 23-year-old Renis Dobra, has stated that his client does not know the victim and has not had any contact with him.
Lawyer Halil Zhuka stated that during today's session, where the Dibra Court imposed the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment" for Petrit Çakrri and Fatjon Bushgjoka, he expressed his request for the release of the 55-year-old.
According to him, Petrit Çakrri is not involved in the crime and that the prosecution has no direct evidence, but simply indications about the movement of vehicles.
He stated that the 55-year-old had accompanied a friend of his to Burrel on the evening of the crime, adding that he then moved to Tirana.
The lawyer emphasized that the accused only knows one of the Bushgjokaj brothers, Kristin, who is wanted by the police.
"We requested the illegality of the detention and milder personal security measures, as the prosecution had no direct evidence of involvement in the incident, but only indications and vehicle movements that claim to shed light on the incident."
My client is not involved, and the prosecution has admitted that he had no connection with Dobra, but that he may be an accomplice.
He stated that he does not know the victim and has not had any contact with him. He accompanied a friend of his to Burrel, moved to Tirana on the night of the incident and that was it. The prosecution has no direct evidence, only indications about the movement of the vehicles.
"With one of the Bushgjokaj brothers, Kristi was in prison. He doesn't know the other brothers," he said.
