US warns of escalation of attacks on Iran, Hegseth: It will be the biggest blow yet!

The United States is expected to intensify military strikes against Iran today, according to a statement by US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
In an update on war developments, he said the next offensive will be "the biggest blow of the attack so far," stressing that operations are proceeding according to plan.
Hegseth said that the US military interventions have been precise and effective, adding that Iran's air defenses have been "neutralized" and its defense infrastructure has been severely damaged. According to him, over 7,000 military targets on Iranian territory have been hit so far.
He also announced that more than 120 Iranian naval vessels have been destroyed and 11 submarines have been eliminated. The US objective, according to him, remains unchanged: to strike Iran's missiles, launchers and military industrial base, as well as to weaken its naval fleet.
The American official did not give a clear deadline for the completion of the operation, but stressed that "everything is going according to plan."
The joint offensive by the United States and Israel against Iran has been ongoing since late February, causing over 1,200 casualties so far.
On the other hand, Iran has responded with drone and missile attacks on Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military bases, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure, as well as affecting global markets and air traffic.
