Gunfire in Vushtrri, a child injured

A gunshot wound was recorded on Thursday evening in Vushtrri, Kosovo. A minor girl was injured in the shooting. Police say the shooting took place on "Ferat Novolani" street in Vushtrri.

After the incident, a person went and reported the incident. According to him, a person shot him and his family twice with a gun. As a result of the shooting, his minor niece was injured in the arm.

She was immediately sent for medical treatment and according to doctors, her life is out of danger. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

"The suspect, after committing the crime, left the scene and is being sought by the police. During the search of the suspect's house, a long weapon (10-gauge rifle) and 14 cartridges were found and seized," the police announced.
