The 38-year-old wanted man attempted to flee Albania, was caught in Qafë Thane

A 38-year-old wanted man has been detained by the Border Police as he attempted to leave the territory of Albania towards North Macedonia.

According to the official announcement, the services of the Qafë Thanë Border Police Station located and detained citizen NL, a resident of Librazhd, at the exit from the country.

This citizen was declared wanted on December 20, 2025 by the Fier Police Commissariat, for the criminal offense of "illegal logging".

After completing the procedural actions and consulting with the Prosecutor, it was decided that the 38-year-old should be released.
