Tritoli with a drone in Tirana/ The apartment was frequented by Bernard

New details have been revealed from the tritol explosion registered yesterday evening in Tirana, in an apartment on the 9th floor of a building. The event happened around 23:45 on "Sadik Petrela" street.

It was the residents of the building who, alarmed by the strong explosion, notified the Police, where the latter, after arriving at the scene, forcefully opened the door and found the glass and windows of the balcony damaged.

Due to the height (9th floor), it is suspected that the tritol may have been dropped by drone on the balcony of the apartment.

Sources indicate that the apartment is owned by citizen Albert Thoma, who had rented it to citizen Elena Arza.

It is learned that the latter is a relative of Bernard Sinomati, a well-known crime figure in Vlora, and sources indicate that the investigative group has learned that the apartment was frequented by the latter.

So far, there is no trace of the tenant, nor of Benard Sinomi, who is not excluded from the possibility that he was in the apartment at the time of the explosion and left afterwards.

Bernard Sinomati is the brother of Sokol Sinomati, former member of the "Gaxhai" gang, otherwise known by the nickname "Buzëderri".

On the evening of January 7, Bernard Sinomat's nephew (Sokol's son), Gëzim Sinomat, only 23 years old, was killed by a sniper in Vlora.

At the time when he was shot, the victim was on the balcony smoking a cigarette, while Bernard Sinomati was suspected to be inside the apartment. The victim had just returned from Blegjika, as he did not have a criminal record, and it is suspected that in that assassination attempt the shooter may have confused the target, as they may have wanted to kill Bernard Sinomati.

Also, in January 2022, Bernard Sinomat was also placed with tritol in his vehicle parked in the city of Vlora. He is a well-known name to the police, having been arrested for carrying weapons without a permit, as well as being convicted in Belgium.

Yesterday's explosion with tritol in Tirana comes only a few days after the assassination recorded on December 18 in the city of Vlora against 30-year-old Kevin Hajrulla, who was shot with a Kalashnikov, being seriously injured.

In that event, as in the sniper attack on Gëzim Sinomat, until now the Police have only collected the cartridges and the burned cars of the perpetrators.

However, it is not known if there is any evidence that could link the two events to each other. / Boldnews
