The court in Bolivia has set the security measure "Arrest in prison" with a term of 6 months for the Albanian Lorenc Hyseni, who was arrested on Thursday as part of an operation in San Rafael de Velasco, Bolivia, for the attack on a criminal group of cocaine traffic.
During the operation, there was an exchange of fire between the suspects and the special forces, who had gone to this area after killing two people.
The session was held behind closed doors in Santa Cruz at the center of the Special Forces for the Fight against Crime (Felç) due to the high level of danger presented by the suspects.
Prosecutor Victor Hugo Cervantes brought charges of "attempted murder", "criminal organization", "unauthorized possession of combat weapons" against Lorenc Hyseni, Wálter Rivero Lola, Leonardo Barsad da Rocha, Álvaro Roca Casupa, Joao Batista da Silva Carneiro and Jacop Dick Peter, Albanian, Bolivian and Brazilian citizens.
The hearing for setting the security measure lasted over 5 hours and at the end of it, the suspects were sent to prison.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian drug baron, captured with them, Lourival Máximo da Fonseca, accused of being an international drug trafficker since the 90s, was extradited to Brazil on Friday evening.
