Caught selling narcotics, 22-year-old arrested in Durrës

Durrës Police have finalized the operation codenamed "Coast", arresting a 22-year-old man suspected of distributing narcotics in the city.
According to the official announcement, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operations Force, have arrested citizen GR, 22 years old, in neighborhood no. 17 of Durrës, following information obtained through operational means.
During the physical search and search of his apartment, the police found and seized a total of approximately 188.5 grams of suspected cocaine, suspected of being intended for distribution in the city.
As part of this operation, citizen L. Gj., 21 years old, was also criminally prosecuted, after a cutting tool (knife) was found on him during the search, for which he is accused of the criminal offense of "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons".
Police say investigations are ongoing to identify other possible individuals involved in this criminal activity.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action.
