Sanctioned by the US, the search for Luftar Hysa's luxury assets begins

An unnamed, four-story building located in the residential area of the Chepevera colony in Monterrey has become the subject of attention due to its possible links to a company sanctioned by the United States government for money laundering and for ties to the Sinaloa Cartel and the Albanian mafia.
Among the residences, offices, health clinics, and several law firms is the building, whose online records include the company Hysa Forwarders SA de CV, one of the 22 businesses targeted by the US Treasury Department.
According to several different online sites, the company Hysa Forwarders was, or was claimed to be, located on Daniel Zambrano Street, between Simón Bolívar and Pablo A. González Avenues (known to locals as Fleteros).
However, advanced searches show the address Daniel Zambrano 516, reported on platforms such as whatjobs.com, LinkedIn and on their Facebook account.
A team from the MILENIO–Multimedios platform visited the address to verify the information, but no logo or name of the building or the companies that supposedly operated there was found.
The building stands unidentified, between Simón Bolívar and Pablo González Garza.
Furthermore, the official website of Hysa Forwarders has now been deleted or deactivated. The hosting platform wix.com notes: 'It appears that this domain is not yet associated with any website.' The phone number registered on the Internet and on Facebook also no longer works.
On November 13, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), in cooperation with the government of Mexico, announced the dismantling of the Hysa criminal group and several gambling businesses in Mexico, involved in money laundering linked to cartels and criminal activities in Mexico and Europe.
Among the 22 sanctioned companies, Hysa Forwarders also appears, along with 11 others registered in Nuevo León.
According to official records, Hysa Forwarders was founded on June 10, 2021, with registration number 35583, initially declared with activity in the trade of clothing, footwear and leather goods in specialized stores. The owners are Luftar and Arben Hysa.
The building in Chepevera remains one of the most enigmatic points of the investigation, with closed doors and no active sign of the company involved.
