Vacancy after the passing of Arben Tafaj, Ruzhdi Keçi at the head of the "Tirana" association

Last night, the Steering Council of the "TIRANA" Association met, which began with a tribute speech by Secretary General Ismail Varoshi and a minute of silence for former president Arben Tafaj.
The meeting of the Steering Committee had on the agenda the organization of the management structures of the "Tirana" Association after the vacancy created by the passing of the president Arben Tafaj.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that Ruzhdi Keçi would be appointed head of the Tirana association.
Ruzhdi Keçi is an Associate Professor, a member of the Tirana Association's leadership for 30 years, former mayor of Kamëz, former Prefect of Tirana, lecturer, and prominent intellectual.
After discussions and voting, the Steering Committee approved:
1. Amendment to the Statute of the Association and specifically an additional provision related to the organization of the Steering Committee.
2. Membership of Endri Arben Tafaj in the Steering Committee.
3. Appointment of Ruzhdi Keçi to lead the “Tirana” Association as its new Chairman.
