Kamber Sulçaj is the suspected perpetrator of the murder of Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi two days ago in the village of Salari, Tepelena. The incident occurred, as previously reported, for weak motives and the investigation team has secured footage and valuable evidence for the incident.

The Albanian police were able to solve the murder and also identified the suspected perpetrator.

It is suspected that it was a trivial argument over the high beams of a car that led to the murder of the 44-year-old. The perpetrator, annoyed by the headlights of the vehicle driven by Sarchi and his three Albanian friends - Eqrem, Daniel and Gazment Braçi - retaliated with a firearm.

The investigation revealed that Kamber Sulçaj initially had a verbal conflict with Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi and the citizens who were accompanying the latter. Subsequently, Kamber Sulçaj is suspected of having fired a shotgun at these citizens and their vehicles on the "Nivicë-Salari" axis, where the 44-year-old man lost his life as a result of the shooting.

The police have also seized the vehicles used by citizen Edoardo Sarchi and his companions, as well as 2 shotguns.

Also, during the checks, the Police services found hidden in a hut in a deep mountainous area between the villages of Nivicë and Bolënë, the vehicle and clothing that the 48-year-old allegedly used during the commission of the crime.

Also in this area, a bag was found dumped in the bushes, containing 1 pair of infrared binoculars, 1 pair of thermal binoculars, 1 gun holster, and 1 flashlight.

Further, during the checks carried out in cooperation with the Vlora Police services, in the 48-year-old's apartment and in the apartments of his family, in the village of Mesaplik and in Vlora, around 2,500,000 lek (in lek and euro currencies), 3 hunting guns with combat ammunition (shotguns and bullets), 450 suspected Cannabis seeds and 2 safes (closed) were found.
