The murder of the businessman in Lezha, the Portuguese Ruben Saraiva appears before the Court to familiarize himself with the new evidence

Ruben Saraiva appeared again this Wednesday at the Court of Lezha to familiarize himself with the new evidence that implicates him in the murder of businessman Ardian Nikulaj. The Portuguese has appeared in court several times, but the defense claims that the Prosecution has no new evidence implicating his client in the murder of Ardjan Nikulaj in Shengjin.

The Portuguese Ruben Saraiva was extradited to Albania on December 31, 2023, after the decision of the Moroccan Court which accepted the request of the Albanian authorities.

The decision was considered unfair by the Portuguese lawyer Kujtim Cakrani, according to whom when more than 1 year has passed since this criminal proceeding, the prosecution still has no evidence implicating him.
