The State Police has reacted again to the serious event of November 18, where 14-year-old Martin Cani was killed with a knife, where for the first time it clarifies the dynamics of the crime.
According to the police, the author of the murder, Mario Preleshaj, was hit and laid on the ground by the victim, Martin Cani, and his friend, Luis Meçja.
Further, the police continue, Prelleshaj reacted by shooting with a knife.

This disregarding approach to the truth and unjustifiable playing with the public's feelings, which intentionally or with a marked lack of political or professional conscience on the part of media actors, incites uncertainty and mistrust towards the State Police, must be stopped.
From the investigative actions carried out so far in the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, actions which are based on indisputable evidence about the tragic event and its authorship, it turns out that we are dealing with only one author , also described in the communiques of the State Police and recorded in the footage of the event, which the law prohibits us from publishing due to investigative secrecy.

The State Police informs the public that in any case it will continue to inform according to the data, evidence and facts obtained by the investigative team in this case and in any case, always maintaining investigative secrecy and in full coordination with the Prosecutor's Office of the First Degree of General Jurisdiction in Tirana in this case and anywhere else in any case.
