Police officers discovered a plantation with 1,650 cannabis plants in a difficult area of Ioannina.
The police operation was carried out in cooperation with Albanian authorities.
A plantation with 1,650 cannabis seedlings was discovered by police officers of the Anti-Drug Prosecution Sub-Directorate in a difficult area of Ioannina.
Specifically, the saplings, approximately 1 to 3 meters high, were found, uprooted and confiscated as part of a police operation carried out in cooperation with the Deputy Director of the Prosecution and Criminal Investigation of Ioannina and the Albanian authorities, as well as with the assistance of EKAM police officers and a unit of the Fire Brigade.
A team from the Ioannina Criminal Investigation Office was called to the site where the plantation was found, while a preliminary investigation to find the owners of this plantation is being carried out by the Drug Prosecution Sub-Directorate. /protothema.gr/
