The Director of the Lezha Police, Ermal Muça, in a statement to the media, announced that a person has been escorted to the police station, in connection with the assassination recorded this Thursday morning in the village of Nderfushas, ​​where 65-year-old Viktor Bardhi was killed.

According to Muça, who had also gone to the scene of the assassination, the police are working to identify and capture the perpetrators involved in the murder of Viktor Bardhi, who, as we previously reported, is Martin Bardhi's brother.

"Around 08:55 we were notified of a serious incident, the murder of a citizen in his car. About 20 minutes later we found a burned car. We have an escort," said Lezhë Police Director Ermal Muça.

The serious incident was recorded this morning, as the 65-year-old was on his way to work when he was attacked. From the footage provided, the "Benz" vehicle in which the victim was traveling was hit with a barrage of bullets in the front.

As a result of the attack, the vehicle left the road and crashed into a concrete barrier. After the incident, the perpetrators are suspected of leaving the scene of the attack, and then burning the vehicle they allegedly used to commit the crime.

Regarding the incident, a resident of the area spoke to the media, indicating that he had greeted the 65-year-old this morning, shortly before he went to turn on the water.

"I greeted him in passing today. He was going to turn on the water, he was working with the waterworks. He was on his way there but they killed him. He was a man who was never guarded," said a resident of the area.
