Greenland and Canada were joined in a post by Donald Trump, who accuses his northern neighbor of preferring to make a deal with China rather than accept protection from the "Golden Dome" anti-aircraft system planned by the US.

In a post on Friday, he says, no more and no less, that Beijing will "swallow" Canada through the deals it makes.

"Canada is against building the 'Golden Dome' over Greenland, even though the Dome will protect Canada. Instead, they voted to cooperate with China, which will 'devour' them within the first year!"
