"Britain, France, China and Japan help us" - Trump says US will definitely open the Strait of Hormuz
US President Donald Trump says that "one way or another, we will soon open the Strait of Hormuz, SAFELY and FREELY!"
In a post on his Truth Social platform, he writes that he hopes China, France, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom will send warships to the main shipping channel so that it "is no longer a threat" from Iran.
He adds that many countries will send warships to keep the main shipping channel "open and safe."
Meanwhile, he says, the US will "bomb all the way to the coast and continuously shoot Iranian ships and vessels out of the water."
He claims the US has "destroyed 100% of Iran's military capability", but says it is still "easy" for them to use drones, mines and short-range missiles.
Iran's representative in Geneva, Ali Bahrani, said Trump's claims about eliminating Tehran's capabilities are "based on fabricated lies."
