DP calls for Presidency meeting, date and agenda revealed

The Democratic Party will convene its Presidency on Monday (March 16) at 12:00.
The topics on the agenda will be varied and include statutory changes, the National Assembly meeting, and the national protest of March 22.
It is learned that the working group for the status change will also meet. The main topic is expected to be the strategy, organization and sharing of the plan for the national protest on March 22 (Sunday).
There will also be decision-making for elections in the DP branches.
The date of the National Assembly, the working group for statutory changes, and preparations for the elections of the new chairman of the blue headquarters will also be approved.
The March 22 protest comes after the Socialist majority voted not to allow SPAK to arrest MP Belinda Balluku, the dismissed, suspended and detained deputy prime minister and minister charged with abuse of office and tenders by the Criminal Court.
Currently, in several branches of the DP, there are chairmen whose mandate has ended. Another item on the agenda is the approval of the date when the National Assembly of the DP will be held, where the elections for chair will be held, as well as for other important positions of the party.
Also, the last item on the agenda of the DP presidency will be the establishment of a working group, which will serve to approve statutory changes.
Also on the agenda of the DP Presidency will be decision-making on the elections that will be held in the branches of the Democratic Party.
