The conviction of the far-right leader in France, Elon Musk reacts harshly: The left is abusing the legal system to imprison opponents

Billionaire and Trump administration minister in DOGE, Elon Musk, has reacted sharply to a French court's decision that Marine Le Pen cannot run for president in 2027, after she was found guilty of embezzling EU funds.
"When the radical left can't win through the democratic vote, they abuse the legal system to imprison their opponents," Musk said on his Platform X account.
Musk has repeatedly expressed his support for far-right parties, such as the Alternative for Germany (AfD), ahead of February's national elections.
We recall that the leader of the French far-right party, Rally National (RN), was found guilty today, Monday, March 31, of embezzlement of public funds and the court announced that Marine Le Pen will not be able to run for public office for five years, as her political rights have been stripped with immediate effect.
Therefore, she loses the right to be a candidate in the upcoming elections.
She was also sentenced to four years in prison, two of which were suspended and the other two under house arrest, as well as a fine of 100,000 euros.
Along with Le Pen, the court found eight MEPs from her party guilty of embezzling 474,000 euros. At the same time, twelve MEP assistants were found guilty of receiving illegal goods. All the elected officials involved in the case were also disqualified from running for office.
When the radical left can't win via democratic vote, they abuse the legal system to jail their opponents.
This is their standard playbook throughout the world. https://t.co/FgmgeyQ2rp
