The longest flight connecting three continents? It leaves from China to Argentina

The world's longest non-stop flight kicked off this Thursday, a route that covers about 20,000 kilometers, connects three continents and lasts 25 to 29 hours.
The incident was announced by China Eastern Airlines and the plane departed from Shanghai's Pudong Airport to Auckland, New Zealand, and its final destination is Buenos Aires in Argentina.
According to the airline, the route crosses the Eastern and Western Hemispheres, as well as the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, setting a new world record for the longest flight.
In addition to setting a record for the longest non-stop distance, the new line cuts the total travel time between China and South America by more than four hours.
The line will be operated twice a week with round-trip flights, becoming a new southern corridor over the Pacific.
The company explained that due to the long distance and limitations in aircraft performance, flights between China and South America have so far required intermediate stops.
But the route has only one stop in two hours in Auckland, but it is still considered non-stop because there is no change of planes and the purpose is only for passengers to rest.
