Russian forces attack with missiles and drones near Kiev, injuries reported

Three people were injured overnight in a Russian missile and drone attack in the Kiev region.

Kiev's Air Force reported that Russian forces launched a barrage of missiles, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and dozens of drones, at towns on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital.

Meanwhile, regional Governor Mykola Kalashnyk reported that a 42-year-old man was injured by shrapnel in the town of Fastiv, about 60 kilometers southwest of Kiev.

The Ukrainian railway authority said Russia carried out a “massive bombing of infrastructure” in Fastiv. While attacks between the countries continue, a new round of talks between the US and Ukraine is expected to take place in Miami today.
