“I am telling you clearly: Hamas will no longer exist. There will be no ‘Hamastan.’ There is no turning back. It is over. We will release all our hostages. How can I say this? We will eliminate them completely ,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, according to his office.
"The opportunities before us are extraordinary. We will not squander them. We have a great opportunity: to defeat our enemies and secure our future... we will connect Asia and the Middle East, including the Arabian Peninsula, its great energy resources, with the West. This will happen," he added.
Meanwhile, Israeli Justice Minister Yariv Levin said the time has come to annex the West Bank. "I think this period is a moment of historical opportunity that we should not miss," referring to the annexation of the disputed territory.
"The time has come for sovereignty, the time to implement sovereignty. My position on this issue is firm, it is clear," Levin said. The minister said the issue should be "at the top of the priority list."
