India, tragedy at an educational center after a powerful fire, 15 dead, most of them students

At least 15 people have died after a massive fire broke out at an educational center in the northern Indian city of Lucknow.
According to local authorities, most of the victims were students who were inside the training center when the fire broke out. About 21 people were reportedly present in the building, while two of them were seriously injured and four others are in stable condition.
Dramatic footage from the scene shows students trying to escape by exiting the building, while emergency crews intervened to evacuate and extinguish the flames.
The center where the fire occurred was providing training to students in the field of animation creation, the state's Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak, announced.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, while checks on the building's safety conditions are ongoing. The tragedy has sparked widespread reactions in India, where similar incidents in educational buildings have previously raised concerns about safety measures.
