This is the only country in the Persian Gulf that is not being hit by missiles from Iran

So far, the only Gulf state to have escaped Iranian missile strikes is Oman. The country, which had been hosting talks between the Iranians and the US, expressed disappointment at the military action. Oman hosts US military bases, as do most other countries in the region, but it appears to be the only country untouched by Iran's strong response.

"I am shocked. Active and serious negotiations have been undermined again. Neither the interests of the United States nor the cause of global peace are well served by this," Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi wrote on the X platform.

"And I pray for the innocents who will suffer. I urge the United States not to get involved further. This is not your war."
