Panic in Italy/ Baby is robbed in supermarket, perpetrator pulls her and breaks her leg

A shocking incident has been recorded in a supermarket in Bergamo, Italy , where a man attempted to violently abduct an 18-month-old baby from her parents, causing her to break her femur during the collision.

According to Italian media, at around 1:00 p.m., a Romanian citizen, homeless and with no criminal record, entered the supermarket just as the family was leaving after shopping. Suddenly, he grabbed the little girl by the legs and tried to forcefully pull her away from her mother, who was holding her hand.

The mother reacted immediately, screaming for help and trying to hold her daughter. The father, who was nearby, intervened to neutralize the aggressor. Several passers-by also came to the rescue, as well as the shopping center's security guards, who managed to immobilize the man until the police arrived.

The patrol team that arrived at the scene arrested the suspect and escorted him to the police station. The investigations, based on the testimonies of those present and security camera footage, made it possible to fully reconstruct the event.

The baby was immediately transported to the hospital, where medical examinations confirmed a fractured femur, caused during the violent kidnapping attempt. Fortunately, her life is out of danger.

The man has been arrested on charges of aggravated kidnapping of a minor under the age of 14, as well as serious injury. By order of the authorities, he has been remanded in custody and is expected to appear before the preliminary investigation judge in the coming days.

Footage of the incident, published by local media, shows moments of tension and the immediate intervention of parents and citizens to save the little girl.
