Large avalanches formed by snowfall have once again blocked the road to Theth.
The Albanian Road Authority announces that the road to the tourist spot will continue to remain closed due to the risk of avalanches.
According to the announcement, the intervention with vehicles creates shocks and causes snow layers to slide, while an appeal is made for citizens to avoid traffic on this axis.
"Due to the intense snowfall and high risk of avalanches, the road to Thethi will continue to remain closed. We call on all drivers and visitors to avoid any movement on this road segment until conditions improve and the situation stabilizes. The Albanian Road Authority will announce as soon as the road is safe for traffic ," the announcement says.
