Vllaznia secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over AF Elbasan at the 'Loro Boriçi' stadium, creating a significant five-point gap over closest challenger Egnatia. Emotions in Shkodër reached their peak with Kevin Dodaj's winning goal in the fifth minute of added time.
Shkodran took the lead in the 23rd minute, when after a long attacking action, Balaj found the way to the net and beat Janaček. The home team created other chances with Kastrati and Kallaku, while Elbasan took a risk at the end of the first half with Boye, but goalkeeper Pohls reacted correctly. The first half ended 1-0 for Vllaznia.
In the second half, the game became more closely fought. Vllaznia claimed a penalty for a handball in the area, but the game continued.
