Rama ordered the arrest of the citizen who called him a thief, Lapaj: Surreal

The leader of "Shqipëria Bëhet", Adriatik Lapaj, commented this Sunday on Edi Rama's meeting with the residents of Durrës, where he was met with protests from the latter.

From the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Lapaj released a video where Rama orders the police to escort a citizen who he called a "thief".

Lapaj harshly criticized Rama's behavior, stating that it has never been seen in any country that the prime minister gives orders to the police to escort citizens.

According to him, Albania functions only according to Rama's will and this situation, says Lapaj, is becoming surreal.

He added that Rama's behavior is the same towards the "Albania Becomes" protesters, where on his orders, Guard forces have removed the chairs of activists who have been protesting against the government for weeks.

Lapaj adds that Edi Rama is treating the state as a personal matter, where neither laws nor rules are recognized and implemented, but actions are taken only according to Rama's will.

"He is treating the state as a personal matter. The Prime Minister of the country cannot order a Guard employee or a police officer. There is a procedure that the police officer must judge for himself in relation to the law. What is this state? How can a state not have rules and procedures, but only the will of a man. He is going into the surreal. He sends the Guard to us and tells them 'go get the chairs'. Today he gets annoyed when they call him 'thief', tomorrow they will force us to stand. He orders the police and they obey", - Lapaj expresses among other things.
