Scandal in Sweden/ Minister reveals that his son had connections to neo-Nazi

Swedish Minister Johan Forssell has revealed that his teenage son had links to neo-Nazi extremist groups, but says the 16-year-old is remorseful and is not under investigation. The incident has sparked debate and criticism of the government for double standards in dealing with extremism.

The Swedish Minister of Migration and Asylum Policy, Johan Forssell, has revealed that his 16-year-old son has had connections to right-wing extremist groups, including collaborations with the Nordic Resistance Movement, a neo-Nazi organization active in the region.

It all came after the Swedish anti-racism organization made public information about a relative of a minister who had prominent activities with them.

Forssell confirmed that it was his son, explaining that he had not been aware until he was contacted by the secret service a few weeks ago.

"Many parents can probably relate to the feeling of not knowing completely what their children are doing on social media," the minister said.

According to him, the boy has repented, has cut off all contact with the groups and is not under criminal investigation. Bazur says that there is no reason to resign on this fact.

He added that he had chosen not to make it public earlier to protect the privacy of a minor and not to preserve his political image.

Despite this, the opposition has warned that it will summon the minister to a parliamentary committee after the summer break to provide explanations.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has expressed his support for Forssell, saying he has acted as a responsible parent in difficult circumstances.

The event has sparked widespread debate in public opinion, especially in the face of criticism of the government for its collaboration with the Sweden Democrats party, which has origins linked to extreme nationalist circles.
